Pigment filler classification

According to its performance and function, pigment fillers suitable for powder coatings can be roughly divided into coloring pigments, metal pigments, functional pigments, physical pigments (fillers) and other four categories.

Pigmentation pigments are divided into organic and inorganic categories, which can cover almost all hue systems. Inorganic pigments include carbon black, iron oxide pigment, chrome pigment, etc. Organic pigments include phthalocyanine blue, organic yellow (permanent yellow, benzidine yellow, light fast yellow, etc.), organic red (permanent red, toluidine red, light fast red, etc.), etc.

Metal pigments mainly include floating and non-floating aluminum powder, various colors of copper and gold powder and pearlescent pigment, metal nickel powder and stainless steel powder.

Functional pigments mainly include fluorescent pigments, luminous pigments, high temperature resistant pigments, conductive pigments and so on.

Constitution pigment (filler) broadly speaking, titanium dioxide (anatase and rutile), calcium carbonate (light and heavy, etc.), barium sulfate (precipitation and natural barite), talc, bentonite, quartz powder, etc.
